Chris graduated from Victoria University School of Design in 1996 with a Bachelor of Design Degree. Since then he has worked predominantly as a digital designer and web developer for government agencies and as a freelance web designer for clients in New Zealand, Australia, UK and the US.
In 2002 Chris took up a research and teaching position at Massey University College of Creative Arts lecturing Under Graduate and Post Graduate students in Digital Media.
Chris's main areas of research over this six year period covered Interface Design and User Experience with a focus on Geo-location and the integration of Persuasion theory into the design and development of Social Media services.
Chris has a Master of Design Degree (First Class Honours) from Massey University. His research focused on Motivation, Persuasion and Social Networked Environments.

In 1996 Kate graduated from Otago University with Bachelor of Science majoring in Zoology. Yes Zoology. She likes animals. In a good way.
After graduating Kate tried her hand at a number of eclectic jobs before becoming a software developer in 1998. Since then Kate has gained experience in all aspects of software development including programming, customer support, testing, documentation development and project management. She developed, designed and supported a financial desktop software application used by merchant banks in New Zealand and Australia for 8 years. Kate started out in web development in 2000 and has developed a number of web applications for DeepFried labs as well as clients in New Zealand and the US.
